Department of Commerce

The Department of Commerce was started in 2009. Since its inception, the department has been dedicated to produce commerce graduates and research scholars of high caliber. It houses B.Com., B.Com CA., B.Com (Accounting and Finance)., M.Com., M.Phil., and Ph.D programmes. The department is manned by academically well-qualified and experienced faculty members. The faculty members have been consistently involving themselves in publishing books, research articles in reputed journals and participating in various national and inter-national forums to make them updated with the current issues in commerce domain which ultimately benefits our students. To make our students versatile and employable, the department has been conducting Guest Lectures, Industrial Visits, Personality Enrichment and Internship Training Programmes regularly. Our department has produced 1 Gold Medal and 22 University Rank holders are the milestones of our department.

Bachelor of Commerce

Candidate for admission to the first year of the B.Com degree programme shall be required to have passed the higher secondary examination (Academic or Vocational) conducted by the Govt. of Tamil Nadu in the relevant subjects Accountancy / Commerce.

Bachelor of Commerce [Computer Application]

Any one of the subjects must be students at the +2 level Accountancy / Commerce / Mathematics / Business Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science.

Bachelor of Commerce [Accounting and Finance]

Any one of the subjects must be students at the +2 level Accountancy / Commerce / Mathematics / Business Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science.

Master of Commerce
